Child Protection Policy


Children, 12 years old cannot be left unattended at any time whilst partaking in the program. Children left without a parent or guardian may be removed from their class.


NO Parents On Pool Deck Policy


As part of our child protection policy all parents are to be seated in the grandstands during their child’s swimming lesson or squad training sessions. This is allowing for NO parent interference during class/squad times which can take away from the learn to swim class or squad session .


It is also is safety issue – as we can monitor if we have any strangers enter our facility. If any parent needs to discuss their child’s progress – please speak to our Senior Teachers, if it is squad related please organise a time to catch up with your child’s coach at a suitable time.


Any parents with prams, people who are disabled or elderly are allowed to sit in the plastic seating behind the diving pool platforms.
 
Squad Parents - NO Parents On Pool Deck Policy


Parents who wish to stay and observe their children training must do so from the grandstands. This reduces distraction to the swimmers and also improves the efficiency to the session as the coaches aren’t interrupted by parents.


Parents with swimmers over the age of 12 age are encouraged only stay for the first and last 10 minutes of sessions – but a reminder to sit in the grandstands.
 
If you need to speak to your child’s coach, please organise a time to catch up with them at suitable time.

Term Fees & Cancellations


  • Program fee payments are required upon attendance of the 1st session of the term.
  • Clients please notify the office if not attending, before the term starts.
  • Accounts left outstanding my lead to removal from our program.

 
Payments


Total Aquatic Solutions accepts payment using the following methods:

  • Cash & Cheque – payable to Total Aquatic Solutions Pty Ltd
  • EFTPOS & Credit card – payments accepted over the phone.
  • Direct Deposit – account details on invoices


Make Up Lessons / Refunds
We offer 1 make up lesson per term. Make up lessons will only be allowed if there is plenty of notice given that your child is unable to attend their regular class. The make up time is all dependant on available positions. We do not offer refunds.


Medical Certificates
If a position needs to be held, a medical certificate must be produced with a minimum of 3 weeks and max of 6 weeks per term.


Medical Information
It is of assistance to inform Total Aquatic Solutions of any disability, injury or learning disability that may assist with the instruction of your child. Please inform office staff so that we are made aware a situation relevant to the welfare of your child.


Swim Shop
Any purchases made at our Swim Ship such as: swimwear, swim caps, swim finz or goggles

cannot be returned or refunded after purchase.
